Miraflores Locks in the Panama Canal

Transiting the Panama Canal is always an exciting time. Our trip this time began with a passage from Grand Cayman Island to the San Blas Islands on the north shore of Panama, home of the Cuna Indians. We spent several weeks in the San Blas exploring the remote island group and interacting with the Cuna Indians before heading for Colon. Here we were to await the owner and guests and attend to the paperwork required to transit the canal.
